Over two years ago I moved to NYC with a vision of what I wanted to accomplish. One of those visions was a goal to become a yogi. I was such a beginner that I could not even touch my toes, and my dream is the only thing that kept me practicing. Not everything in my life is about yoga but yoga has taught me so much about my life. About taking life to the mat, about believing in myself, and my own strength. It teaches me about patience, about balance, and that the human body is capable of more than you could ever imagine. Today, I did my first handstand in class and I am over the moon since I have been working towards this for so long! Thank you goes out to one of my dear friends and manager’s, Chelsea DiClaudio for ensuring I made it to the mat today!
